Who we are

TradeToWeb builds and looks after websites for UK tradespeople. You can contact us at contact@tradetoweb.com or on 07916 411797.

What we collect

When you book a free 30-minute consultation or contact us, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, email address, telephone number, business name and trade.

How we use it

We use your details to arrange and hold your consultation, respond to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, build and look after your website.

Booking

Consultations are booked through Calendly, which processes the details you enter when booking.

Your rights

Business research and outreach

We may research UK trade businesses using permitted public sources and authorised research services. We record business contact details, company information, source addresses and the date checked. We use these details to assess whether a website concept may be relevant and, where legally permitted, contact the business. We do not guess email addresses.

Where personal information is involved, our proposed basis is legitimate interests in relevant business-to-business marketing, subject to an assessment before outreach starts. Sole traders and individual subscribers require valid consent or another applicable legal exception. You can object at any time by replying to our email, using its opt-out link or contacting us directly.

Unsold prospect records are reviewed after the configured retention period, initially 90 days. We retain a minimal do-not-contact record when you opt out so we can respect your request. Research and email providers may process information for us; provider arrangements and any international transfers must be reviewed before automated outreach is activated.

Website concept visits

We count visits to website concepts and record when they occur, without advertising cookies or identifying the visitor. A visit does not tell us that the original email recipient opened the site. Enquiries are linked to the relevant website concept.

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email contact@tradetoweb.com to make a request.
